The Start of the Day

On arriving at school, children and parents walk around the side of the building (right for school, left for Foundation) to the rear playground. The children will then head straight into the school through the playground entrance door.

The school doors will open for the children to come in at 8:40. All children are expected to be in their classrooms by 8:50. Please be prompt getting your child to school on time; even one late child can delay the start of the day for other pupils in the class.

The End of the Day

Children in Year One and Year Two are collected are collected from the playground door. All Key Stage One (Years 1 & 2) children should be collected by an adult. If someone different is to collect your child or you have changed your usual arrangements, please let their class teacher know or leave a message with the school office.

Key Stage Two (Years 3 to 6) children will be dismissed by staff from the school hall. If you know that you are going to be late collecting your child, please ring us so that we can ensure your child waits in the school foyer. Year 6 children are allowed to walk home by themselves as long as parents have signed a letter giving permission.
